A 2011 Recap

Oh my… I just looked back at my posts from the year, and there is a definite decline in posting starting in August – the month we moved to Evanston, I started traveling for work and the pace of life increasingly picked up!  I miss blogging – it’s such a fun, creative way to connect…Therefore, my 2012 resolution is to revive this and hopefully you will enjoy reading it!  In true New Year fashion, I like to reflect on the year, and there is a definite theme – Business School.
Here’s a look back in 2011:

• In January we took a much needed getaway to Playa Mujeres after Lee finished his applications for school
• In February I had a lovely getaway weekend with my Sister in Law and her friends, and cooked a French inspired meal for Valentine’s Day
• In March I spring cleaned by having a cocktail dress sale (almost sold out!) and we found out Lee got into Kellogg
• In April we celebrated my Mom’s 60th
• In May I cried over this video (no judgment) and we found our temporary home in Evanston, Illinois
• In June I reunited with some of my favorite people for a fabulous weekend in Port A
• In July we started packing, my dream home was featured on La Dolce Vita and I posted by favorite Houston restaurants
• In August we moved to Evanston and we went to Spain
• In September I learned the meaning of FOMO
• In October I ate / thought about food a lot
• In November (besides falling off the face of the earth,) I fretted about our December ski trip
• In December we didn’t decorate our place.  In actuality, December was a crazy month, and I will blog about that a bit later!
