That's Bull...

As I mentioned earlier this week, we're headed to Andalucia, Spain in August and we're very excited. One of the optional activities on the itinerary is a Bullfight in Sevilla. I'm really torn about this... I'm a huge animal lover (no, not just cats), and the whole thing seems so barbaric, BUT... at the same time, I understand it's a really important part of the culture, and I don't want to miss out...

If you have been and experienced such a thing, will you tell me how you felt about it...Would you go, or would you suggest touring the town instead...? Thoughts and opinions welcome!

  1. For sure touring the town instead. Sevilla is BEAUTIFUL! Sit along the river and enjoy a glass (or two) or sangria and pinxos instead. Bull fighting is so sad. These bulls don't even get a fair chance since the tendons that support their neck are stabbed before the fight begins so that they cannot lift their head fully. So, so sad. But if you want to go, I'll still be your friend. :)
