I Heart Austin, TX

There are lots of reasons Austin is a great city, but today my heart filled with joy to see this amazing house is based in the beautiful ATX .  Austin is full of creative, talented people which makes it so special.  Here are a few shots of the remodeled duplex. I love the thick black and white striped chair in the living room, and the orange vanity in the bathroom.  Little touches make this place very chic.

The owner and designer’s two boys share this room in which vintage maps are used as wallpaper.  This makes me want to re-do Lee’s man wall in all maps! PS: Love the orange tabby cat tail in the bottom left corner!

And my favorite part of the house is the light installation in the entry which is surrounded by postmarked postcards they had received.  What a creative and cool way to be reminded of your loved ones.
